Architect and industrial designer, Marco Susani is a consultant in design projects and research on Media Design, Strategic Design and Product Design.

He has developed projects for Motorola, NTT Japan, Philips, Logitech, Apple, Sharp, Seiko, 3M, Telecom Italia, Olivetti, Nissan, Mitsubishi Motors, Mediaset, Bticino, and research projects for the European Union, in the fields of strategic design, advanced design, product design, knowledge management, interaction and media design, design for elderly.

His works have been shown in exhibitions at Triennale di Milano, Memphis Gallery Milano, Centre Pompidou Paris, Axis Gallery Tokyo, Grand Palais Paris.

Until January 2000 he has been Director of Domus Academy Research Center, responsible of the Interaction Design Course, and tutor of many Master Courses. He held various conferences and lectures, including "Doors of Perception" (Amsterdam), Les Atelier (Paris), RMIT Melbourne (Australia), Hochschule der Kunst (Berlin), Atypi (Barcelona). He has been for three years external examiner at the Royal College of Art in London.

Between 1985 and 1993 he has been associate partner and head of the industrial design department at Sottsass Associati Design Studio and has worked with Ettore Sottsass in the Olivetti Design Studio.
